More Vendors

Thanks to a friend, our cake will be sponsored. Gabe is already thinking about how much he will enjoy going cake tasting.

Still waiting on chair covers. Haven't been too aggressive about it though. We hope to have the vendor booked, along with wedding insurance, by the end of the month. We have looked into the insurance as a precaution in case something goes wrong. Even though we have paid a majority of our deposits, as long as we have those records, we will be covered.  

Pre-Wedding Festivities

Gabe has really been a great help and supportive with the planning. He booked the Rehearsal Dinner location. Now we're waiting for a final estimate based on a larger head count than we originally stated.

My Maid of Honor has already begun asking me for a guest list for both the bridal shower and bachelorette party. We narrowed down March as the magic month. The bridal shower will be hosted by the bridal party and my mommy. It will be held at my Maid of Honor's house in Sacramento. For the bachelorette party, we will spend a weekend in fabulous Las Vegas.

Honeymoon

We reviewed places we wanted to vacation at some point in our lives. Then we listed which amenities and activities we'd like to have on our first big vacation together, our honeymoon. Next we considered costs. Our agent Elizabeth at AAA Travel Agency was a huge help! She made things a lot easier by getting us price quotes, including airfare, hotel, and airport transfers, for our top three destinations. From there, we figured out which destination would be the best deal for our honeymoon and decided... we're going to the Caribbean!

Ring Shopping

Gabe was very clever to have purchased a matching wedding band to my engagement ring. Yes, that ring has been insured also. Now we're browsing rings for him. He said he wanted something fairly plain, but seemed to have reconsidered after I sent him an email with about 15 different wedding band pictures. Just yesterday he limited the selection to three bands.

Engagement Photos
We upgraded our photography package to include our engagement session, guest book, and a few other additions. The guest book will be a little more personable with our engagement pictures inserted. We still need to pinpoint the location and time of day for our photo shoot, so that we can schedule our appointment.
