Tick Tock... Time is Running out!

In preparing for our honeymoon, we needed to get our updated vaccinations. Well, first we were advised by UCSD Medical to go to the travel clinic. The clinic explained the vaccinations we needed were going to run us $300 each for 3 vaccinations. Had we not received our Hepatitis B series vaccinations in college, the cost to add that one would have jumped up at minimum $70. Still, the cost seemed too high, and I definitely didn't have the spare cash lying around. So, we decided to contact our medical insurances. Our insurances explained they would cover most, if not all the costs of the vaccinations, as part of our preventative care. The costs would be covered only if we had them administered by our medical care provider rather than the clinic. We found a doctor that would take both of our insurances and scheduled our appointments. I got two shots and a prescription for a week's worth of an oral vaccine. Gabe only had one shot when he had gone in for his physical. So he rescheduled to obtain the other two needed.

My stylist gave me my final haircut before the big day. I have bangs and body in my hair again, yay! Gabe will also be getting his final haircut soon.

This past weekend I enjoyed my Bachelorette Relaxation Getaway with three of my closest friends. Gabe and I drove up to NorCal. He visited with a few friends while I went to Golden Haven Hot Springs Spa and Resort in Calistoga to be pampered. We enjoyed the Girlfriends' Spa package. It included a mud bath, hot mineral jacuzzi, blanket wrap, 30 minute massage, and a 30 minute mini facial. The mud bath was definitely different, but it was a great experience! Then we enjoyed visiting with my familia, eating, and lounging.

Our final count for the reception is in and seating chart finished. That was a lot of work! Deciding how to get the right number at each table and where each person would know at least one other person at their table was pretty difficult. As of now, there can not be any more changes to the guest list, meal choices, or seating chart. We are submitting the final lists to the venue in a couple weeks, as soon as we can get the vehicle information from our vendors.

The table numbers and menus are done, along with all place cards. I made them all myself. Next is to finish printing the programs. Unfortunately, we had to alter the plan slightly as one of my dear friends will not be able to participate due to family tragedy.

There is still plenty left to do with only two and a half weeks to go...
