We still managed to get things accomplished. We have provided final payment to all our vendors! Our mailed payment to the DJ mysteriously got lost. It should not have taken more than 3 days to be delivered. He notified us at the end of the week and we decided to meet in person instead of risking another mishap with the postal service.
We met with our florist and finalized our flower arrangements for the ceremony, reception, and bridal party. Our final day of timeline which has now been forwarded to the wedding party. We completed our picture checklist and forwarded it to our coordinator and photographers.
Our music list is finally done also. Gabe selected a good oldie for dancing with his mama, and then we decided to practice our first dance. We were close to changing the song, because we were torn between two songs. Haha. In the end we figured it out and are happy with the decision.
We also went cake tasting. A little late I know. Well, I had no clue how much planning went into a cake. I had no idea what shape or size I wanted it, or what it looked like. All I cared about was that it tastes good. It will be nice and simple, and quite tasty. Gabe opted to bring a couple pieces home.
Gabe enjoyed sushi and drinks one Friday night. He was kicked out of the house for a few hours while I had a small gathering of friends as my local bachelorette/naughty party. I enjoyed some good conversation, fun, and even received a few things on my wish list for the honeymoon. *Wink wink*
We have tons of cleaning and organizing to do to prepare for family who will be staying with us. Of course there is always laundry to do, and grocery shopping. We still need to follow up with our final count for Rehearsal dinner. Gabe has been checking in with wedding party members that haven't notified us if they will be attending. Gabe's work department is treating us to lunch next week with my favorite, Aladdin. Then I have a few beautifying appointments spread out along with both of us going in for another teeth cleaning. Eeek! Only 7 more days!!
Next time I blog, we will be married!!
